Free 15min Virtual Consultation
Our initial consultation is provided free of charge. This time is intended to assess whether this type of therapy is a good fit for you, to make referrals to another type of therapist or to other healthcare professionals if needed, and to discuss fees, scheduling, confidentiality, and whatever other concerns you may have about the process. You can set up an initial consultation by phone, by email, or through the convenient secure client portal.
Counseling Fee
Individuals - $150 for 50min session
Couples - $170 for 50min session
Sliding Scale Spots
I reserve a number of sliding-scale spaces in my practice. If you feel like you would benefit from working with me but are currently unable to pay the standard rate, please inquire about this sliding scale. I am committed to working with you to find a solution that takes into account the financial hardship.
Out-of-Network with Insurance
I am and Out-of-Network provider with all insurance companies. I can provide you with a monthly statement (called a Superbill) which you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Some insurance plans will reimburse 40%-80% of the cost.
Please contact your insurance provider before the time of service and check your eligibility, deductible and benefits coverage.
Some questions helpful to ask your insurance are:
Do I have an out of network deductible? If so, what is it?
Will I get reimbursed for an out of network therapist? How much?
Where/how do I submit for reimbursements with a superbill?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Payment Methods
Most clients choose to pay for therapy with one of the following:
Debit Card
Credit Card
Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card
Cash
A valid credit, or debit card number is required to book an appointment.
Cancellation Policy
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy for schedule changes or cancellations. Appointments canceled within the 48 hours will be charged the full session rate.
